Recommended Offer = April 1, 2020
With $1500 rush fee = March 15, 2020
With $2000 rush fee = March 1, 2020
Not possible before = February 15, 2020

Work Authorization ends on End Program date of Form I-20 or Graduation date, whichever comes first.
Graduate Assistants – End Program date or last day of semester, whichever comes first
Reminder = 2020 is a leap year = Spring 2020 ends May 14 (not 15)

Foreign National Students
Supervisors CANNOT assign work beyond assigned FTE
F-1 students CANNOT work beyond 20 hours per week
Just because they live on site, does not mean they can go check on research projects “real quick”
Assigning a lower FTE for any GA because that’s all the budget can afford … GA’s cannot work beyond that FTE!!
