As in 2017, Elite Star Trading Africa continues to weather the turbulent economic conditions of the 12 months to Dec 2018 well, buoyed by good growth, particularly in the Hardware Division
Foods
FY2018 results reflects growth of +2,5% YOY in member sales-out to R21.11bn
Performance in Foods was impacted by multiple source margin pressures including a year of deflation in Commodities, declining levels of consumer spend, aggressive competitor pricing and an increasingly savvy foreign customer base
