3. No living person is ever debt-free, for there is always at least one thing he owes:

Truly “the borrower is servant to the lender” (Proverbs 22:7), but the emphasis of this verse is our continual obligation to love.

When we walk in the love of Jesus, we are as close as we will ever be in this life to God, and to perfection.

All these “shalt nots” were given to teach God’s people how to keep the second commandment!

DRUNKENNESS, noun
Intoxication; inebriation; a state in which a person is overwhelmed or overpowered with spirituous liquors, so that his reason is disordered, and he reels or staggers in walking.

STRIFE, noun
Exertion or contention for superiority;
Contention in anger or enmity; contest; struggle for victory; quarrel or war.
