No more MTYR but we are still full 2 Teamed, 2 Quad, and 4 Mobile Classrooms 4 New faces – 1 music teachers, 2 new Custodians, 1 aide PE position is open Star Ratings – 4 star not finalized, 2 star, 5 star, 3 star, 3 star, 3 star 4 Star range – and we scored an 83.50 Parent survey results

4 Added resources curriculum, intervention, and technology
New English Language Arts curriculum in all grades Active Panels in all 4th and 5th grade classes Accelerated Reading Program – Paid with a grant Raz Kids and Study Island – Paid with a grant Leveled Literacy Kits for all grades Added 4 hung projectors – 2 in C hall for teamed classes and 1 in music, 1 in the MPR

All kids need to be reading on grade level by 3rd grade or retention is possible This is measured by a test we call MAP When a student drops below the 40% an informational letter will be sent as well as an intervention plan to move the student forward

6 Other WC-1 monies added a new Single Point Entry

7 Volunteering A new state law, Senate Bill 185, was passed in 2019
Volunteers who have supervised contact with students no longer need to be fingerprinted. Volunteers who are out of state and overnight chaperones, volunteer coaches, who have unsupervised contact with students need to be fingerprinted. Removed the rule of volunteering more than 3 times a month to be “Regular” Fingerprinting is $45.00

8 ATTENDANCE A student is simply considered present or absent. The reason for the absence is no longer considered. Students request Instruction Related Activities or Concepts Missed when they are absent. They have the number of days they were absent plus one to return the work, beginning the day they receive the make-up work. Once the work is complete, the teacher will enter a “yes” into IC. Chronic absenteeism is 10% or more of required school days and student may face consequences such as retention. Please see full policy on website.
