2. Where did salsa originate?
Salsa originated in Mexico with the Inca’s but the Mayan’s and Aztec’s also made it.
Salsa got it’s name from Alonso de Molina in 1571.

3. Ties to Mexican culture
Salsa is a big part of Mexican culture because the ingredients used are most of the crops in Mexico.
The spiciness of salsa is also notable because since Mexico is so hot eaty spicy food is a good way to combat the heat.

4. Ingredients
Garlic
Onion
Green Onion
Lime
Tomatoes
Sugar
Salt
Cilantro

5. Preparation
Chop the Cilantro, Tomato, Onion & Green Onion and put into a bowl
Press the garlic and add to the bowl
Mix the ingredients together
Add salt, sugar, and the lime juice and mix together one more time
