4. Own Placement Can be organised in the UK –
Only time students can work with Family
Form can be downloaded from the Website
Own Placement
Health & Safety Checks completed by Trident Office
Company not already in the Trident scheme
Attach Own Placement Form to main Application Form

5. The Trident Website One to one appointments with students and parents
Student login - username and password (details provided by Trident)
Over 450 opportunities – search by category, name or activity type
Select six equal choices. Maximum of six choices allowed
Choices will be locked once the deadline date has passed
Students complete the reverse of the application form manually
Medical information: Parents must circle Yes or None & give details
Sign to confirm that you are happy with your child’s selections

Discuss different options with your child
Don’t focus too much on careers
Make this a positive
experience for your child
Check that you are both happy with the job description, working hours and the location
Prepare them for the realities of the working day
Help them to plan their journey to work
Encourage them to prepare for the interview
