2. Definition and description of career
The National Basketball Association is a major men's professional basketball league in North America according to google (NBA.com) . They play 82 games to be in the playoffs. Its 15 teams on the east and west the top 8 teams on each side goes to the playoffs. Whoever win the playoffs go to the finals who ever win that they win the championship.
For me to be eligible to go to the NBA it’s going to take a lot of work and practice in the gym you have to have a routine and drills you do everyday. It’s hard work you have to go through you to have experience to play in organized basketball.

3. Education and Training
The training you’ll need will be shooting drills dribbling drill you dribble around cones then shoot over something or people to get the feeling of being in a game according to l-drills-to-do-on-your-own . You would have to lift weights to take fouls and AND1’s in the game. You have go through condition to get your stamina up to run down the court and play defence.
The collage I want to go to is UCLA. Most players that go to the NBA come from big collages. I want to go to collage for engineering while playing basketball if It don’t work out.

4. Opportunities for advancement
For basketball players to become a higher level of position you have to have the best status in that season. The salary come with being the best player in that season to be one of the top paid In the NBA. The average salary is 5 million dollars. The most a basketball player got paid is 33 million and that was Michael Jordan. You get paid through out the year but it depends on what contract you have. If you have a 3 year contract the equal up to 10 million you gone average 3.2 million a year for 3 years to get to 10 million .

6. Aptitudes and Values Required
You would need to know how make plays pass the ball so the other team won’t steal it but the different positions if you a point guard you to have basketball IQ so you can see everything on the court.
