Substance Use Disorder Helpline (855) for education regarding substance use, treatment options and available community support services.
Optum Behavioral Health Access Center (888) to make a referral to a behavioral health professional or make an online line virtual appointment
Optum Physician Consultation Service (800) to discuss treatment concerns with an Optum psychiatrist.

Substance Use Disorder Helpline
A 24/7 helpline for providers and patients to:
Identify local MAT and behavioral health treatment providers and provide targeted referrals for evidence-based care
Educate members/families about substance use
Assist in finding community support services
Assign a care advocate to provide ongoing support for up to 6 months, when appropriate
Express Access Network : Providers have contractually agreed to see members within five business days of request for routine appointments.
Peer-reviewed research shows decreased wait times help improve outcomes and lower re-admit rates
Optum now has 85% coverage nationwide of having at least one Express Access provider within a 20-mile range of Members
Express Access providers can filter on LiveandWorkWell.com and are designated with the Stopwatch icon for easy identification
Virtual Visits Providers
Our network directly addresses the national shortage of behavioral health care providers, especially prescribers
virtual visits drastically improves access by expanding geographic region and broadening provider choice for members
member appointments occur within one week
virtual visits is not an add-on benefit; rather it is considered an alternative mode of service billed at standard fee schedule rates
