The three most common operating systems for personal computers are Ms-Dos, Microsoft Windows, mac OS, and Linux.

3. Microsoft windows Microsoft created the Windows operating system in the mid-1980s. There have been many different versions of Windows, starting from Windows 1 in 1985, windows 2 in 1987, after then windows 3, then in 1992 they produced windows 3.1, in 1995 they produced windows 95, then windows 98 in 1998, windows 98-second edition, then windows Millennium, in 2000 it has been produced windows 2000, then windows XP in 2001, then vista in 2007, then windows 7 in 2009, windows 8 in 2012, windows 8.1 in 2013 and in the last, they have been produced window 10 in 30/ 9/ 2014.
