2. 3.1 Voluntary GW Watch list
Draft concept paper and procedure outlined in the draft concept paper in principle agreed by WG GW
Written comments can be provided to the leaders of the group by 15th Nov. 2016
The group of volunteers will analyse the comments and update the draft concept paper accordingly
Further procedure will be as outlined in the presented timetable
Main emphasis will be put on the test of the method; presentation of findings will be done at the next WG GW meeting in spring 2017

3. 3.2 Threshold values – draft TOR
Draft TOR for the Threshold Value activity was presented
The draft was in principle agreed by WG GW
Findings of workshop sessions were integrated into the draft; the amended version will be provided on CIRCABC
Comments on the amended draft can be provided to the Co-Chairs of WG GW by 15th Nov. 2016

4. 3.3 WFD/GWD review – summary of WDs meeting
The summary of the WDs meeting (as available on CIRCABC) was presented
After the discussion within WG GW it was concluded that the SCG will be informed concerning the planned WG GW activity which would contribute to the definition of natural conditions which seems highly relevant for GW
This contribution will be developed further to any decision taken by WDs in this respect

3.4 Trends
For trends it is planned to continue in 2017:
Outline of an amendment of the already available summary report on trends, based on presentations we had today;
Possibly complemented by some other aspects which were addressed e.g. lag time, effectiveness of measures

3.5 DWD/WFD
Concerning the further work the following topics were identified and agreed by WG GW:
Delineation of SPZs and Safeguard Zones (SgZs); exchange of information
Best practices of measures (mandatory/voluntary) with focus on agricultural measures operatives monitoiring WWRL monitoring;
Integration of a risk assessment based approach within monitoring (Water Safety Plans and WFD)
The activity is aiming at elaborating a technical report as a basis for the preparation of a special session in Autumn 2017; case studies shall be presented and discussed
Furhther procedure according timetable outlined in the presentation

Current state of the activity was presented
Concern expressed by several WG GW members concerning direct discharge to GW
