4 Team Commitment & Action: Identifying “From… To” behaviors
11/4/2019 2:37:39 PM Team Commitment & Action: Identifying “From… To” behaviors Team Discussion on the results for your business & your specific team: Did our team see improvement in a specific area? What is driving that? Are the behaviors that we identified in previous sessions having a positive impact on the results? Should we continue with our current path or make any changes? What do we commit to continue doing, stop doing or start doing? Did our team see a decline or less progress than expected on any items? What behaviors are holding us back? Is there a new or changed behavior that would have the most impact on our team’s engagement? How can we tell if we are seeing change? What measurement would help us to stick with the change? (template on next slide) Speaker notes: This exercise is to identify behaviors that make a difference for our team specifically. Building off of the polling set-up questions, we will identify 2 PPG Way statements to focus on. You do NOT need to select the lowest two scores, but rather think about which statements will have the most impact for your team on your engagement What are we doing now, and what do we want to do in the future? We are looking for one specific, tangible behaviors that we can change to live closer to the PPG Way. Use the From-To template and examples to identify the behavior. Keep in mind that the behavior will need to be measurable, once you have selected the behavior determine a way to measure it.

5 Team Commitment “From…To”: behavior
11/4/2019 2:37:39 PM Team Commitment “From…To”: behavior Think about behaviors that your team engages in that actively hinder your team from successfully enacting the PPG Way or reduce team effectiveness and engagement. Which one behavior change will have the most impact on overall team engagement? How will you measure the success of implementing that behavior? Choose 1 or 2 metrics. From Behavior To Behavior Metric(s) I check a report to see if my employee put their goals in the system I meet regularly with my employee, review their Workday goals, conduct Check-ins, & complete snapshots Updated goals & snapshots in the workday system; check-ins completed Speaker notes Highlight the behaviors today that hinder our team from successful enacting the PPG Way Use the example From To to help the team think come up with behaviors Select the behavior that will have the greatest impact on engagement for our team Determine 1 or 2 metrics that your team can use to measure the success of implementing the new behavior – it should be simple and easy to measure You will focus on this behavior throughout the 6 weeks

6 FAQ’s Will we have more surveys?
There will be other pulse surveys in the future that will again have a limited number of questions to support areas of focus. We will have another full survey end of Oct/early Nov 2019 with all Q12 Gallup Questions and the additional questions that were asked in November 2018. Why do the Pulse surveys only ask limited questions? A pulse is intended to be quick and targeted toward a few focus areas Focus areas are selected through a combination of fundamental items according to Gallup and items where the organization is providing support to see if those solutions are good or if we need to continue to develop. These focus areas will rotate as time goes on to include other topics and ways to get feedback. Why are we doing these so often? To increase the opportunity to hear from you & see trends as they happen instead of waiting months Keeping the team conversations fresh and ongoing throughout the year Are there more improvements coming? We are working to incorporate opportunities for you to give more open ended feedback in the pulse and survey process
