1 What do you bring to worship?

2 John 4:23-24 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

3 DESIRE to know truth Romans 10:1-3 1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. 2 For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. It takes more than zeal.

4 DESIRE to know truth Salvation requires a love of the truth
2 Thessalonians 2: The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

5 DESIRE to know truth Transformation requires a large dose of truth
John 8:32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 1 Timothy 2:3-4 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

6 READY to be transformed
Romans 12:2-3 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. 3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. We must change as we grow

7 READY to be transformed
1 Peter 2:1-2 1 Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, 2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,

8 SEEK fellowship with family of God
Fellowship with God, Christ and one another 1 John 1:3-5 3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. 4 And these things we write to you that your joy may be full. 5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.

9 SEEK fellowship with family of God
Fellowship with God, Christ and one another 1 John 1: If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. Look forward to seeing one another 2 Corinthians 13:12 Greet one another with a holy kiss.

10 GIVE our best Learn from the churches of Macedonia
2 Corinthians 8:3-5 3 For I bear witness that according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing, 4 imploring us with much urgency that we would receive the gift and the fellowship of the ministering to the saints. 5 And not only as we had hoped, but they first gave themselves to the Lord, and then to us by the will of God.

11 LOVE one another Christ commanded
John 13: A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

12 LOVE one another Christ commanded Enjoy each other
Romans 12:10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; Romans 12:15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.

13 LOVE one another Christ commanded Enjoy each other
Show kindness to each other Ephesians 4:2-3 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, 3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

14 Come Prepared Worship is more than – showing up.
