8 … to a Seamless Approach
SHIFTING SERVICES Align MFRC governance and capabilities to ensure: AWARENESS.  Use of existing services will be increased by ensuring families know where to access them. ADVOCACY.  Families will know how and when to access services and benefits. AVAILABILITY.  Services and benefits that families need will be available. ALIGNMENT.  Existing services will be streamlined to ensure they match the evidence-based needs of military families using evidence-based practices that support the determinants of wellness and domains of family resilience. CFB Canada With this context of evidence-based researched needs of our CAF families, we are using this conceptual framework to design the Comprehensive Military Family Plan. Our CAF supports program and service should be designed or enhanced to support the 8 determinants of well-being (listed below); as well, community / provincial supports program should be engaged to support the 8 determinants of well-being. Then, theoretically, if these program and services are enhanced and engaged, it will assist families to better manage the military journey transitions and challenges. Our CAF support programs and services should support the 7 factors for family resilience and the community / provincial supports should be engaged, to also enhance the 7 factors for family resilience (listed below). Then, theoretically, if these support program support the 7 factors for family resilience, it will assist families to better manage their family journey transitions and challenges. Our CAF supports should be tailored to the different military journey transition points and to the different family personas. And finally, some CAF families will require higher support interventions, therefore, specific programs for the higher intervention population (i.e. single parents, dual service couples, special needs children, family breakdown, illness/injury/death, etc.) … to a Seamless Approach
