2. Pearson Student Data Protection Policies
Pearson’s Policies related to Student Data protection and Privacy are governed by FERPA and other federal and state privacy laws.
Pearson’s access to personally identifiable student data is subject to the data security and data use requirements of the contract between Pearson and the State or school district and is used solely for purposes of performing such contract.
Only Pearson employees directly related to the project and require access for implementation and support have access to the data.
All Pearson Employees are required take an annual course related to managing personally identifiable information (PII) and the governing laws (i.e., FERPA)
