Limited Public Financing for Health – e.g. 80% of country’s FHCI is funded by external partners

Limited coordination among CSOs
In leadership roles, accountability is the acknowledgment and assumption of responsibility for actions, products, decisions, and policies including the administration, governance, and implementation within the scope of the role or employment position and encompassing the obligation to report, explain and be answerable
Thus, in the following pages I will try to highlight the main characteristics of four forms of accountability: (a) political accountability, (b) administrative accountability, (c) professional accountability –within the framework of administrative accountability–, and (d) democratic accountability.
