2 Definition The term ``eligible agency'' means a State board designated or created consistent with State law as the sole State agency responsible for the administration of career and technical education in the State or for the supervision of the administration of career and technical education in the State. Section 3(18) of Perkins V

3 Eligible Agency Responsibilities
Coordination of the development, submission, and implementation of the State plan, and the evaluation of the program, services, and activities; Consultation with the Governor and appropriate agencies, groups, and stakeholders; Convening and meeting as an eligible agency (consistent with State law and procedure for the conduct of such meetings) to carry out the eligible agency's responsibilities under this title, but not less than 4 times annually; and Section 121(a)(1-3)

4 Eligible Agency Responsibilities
The adoption of such procedures as the eligible agency considers necessary to— implement State level coordination with the activities undertaken by the State boards under section 101 of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act; and make available to the one-stop delivery system under section 121 of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act within the State a listing of all school dropout, postsecondary education, and adult programs assisted under this title. Section 121(a)(4)

5 Eligible Agency Responsibilities
(b) EXCEPTION.– Except with respect to the responsibilities set forth in subsection (a), the eligible agency may delegate any of the other responsibilities of the eligible agency that involve the administration, operation, or supervision of activities assisted under this title, in whole or in part, to 1 or more appropriate State agencies. Section 121(b)

Submit the following information to your State’s PRC: Verification that the State Plan submission, including any revisions were ratified by the current State Board of Education An updated Cover page with required signatures Provide new DUNS number if applicable. You may also be directed to SAMS portal to update the information as well.

7 Has Your State’s Eligible Agency Changed?
Updated Organizational Chart Current Fiscal Year Budget Table Updated EDGAR certifications and other required assurances signed by current eligible agency If applicable update the CTE director and authorizing representative.
