8. Ireland Intercompany Transferee
This permit facilitates the transfer of senior management, key personnel or trainees from an overseas branch or a multinational corporation to its Irish branch.
Requirements:
The applicant must have worked as a direct employee of the sending company at least 6 months prior to the transfer application.
The Irish company must have a direct link with the overseas company by common ownership.
Employees on salary in excess of €40,000 can remain on overseas payroll.
Issued for: up to 2 years, can be renewed for a max of 5 years in total.
Spouse & Family: No, Spouses of Permit holders must apply for a separate Employment Permit in their own right.
Processing time – up to 3 weeks

9. Ireland Work Permit
The Work Permit assume all occupations to be eligible unless otherwise specified.
Requirements:
A job offer of minimum remuneration of €30,000pa. Applications where the remuneration is below €30,000 accepted in exceptional circumstances.
A labour market test needs to be completed.
The applicant must process the relevant qualifications, skills or experience.
There are limitations on the minimum number of EEA nationals required.
Issued for: up to 2 years and can be renewed for a further 3 years.
Spouse & Family: No, Spouses of Permit holders must apply for a separate Employment Permit in their own right.
Processing Time: 10 working days

10. Ireland Green Card
The Green Card permit is designed to attract highly skilled people into Ireland with the aim of encouraging them to take up permanent residence.
Requirements:
Remuneration of €60,000 or more
Job offer of 2 year duration.
The Green Card is also available to certain occupations earning between €30,000-€60,000 including ICT professionals, professional engineers and technologists, business and financial professionals.
Issued for: 2 years, renewable without the need for a further permit.
Spouse & Family: Yes.
Processing Time: 10 working days.

Processing Time: 6-8 weeks currently.

14. Canadian Intercompany Transferee
The permit allows an overseas national to live and work in Canada. It is a temporary resident visa. Without the need for Labour Market Opinion.
Requirements:
The applicant must be able to evidence employment with the overseas branch prior to application for 1 year in the previous 2 years via payroll or contract.
The company must have a direct link with the Canadian company by common ownership
Issued for: up to 2 years, up to a maximum of 7 years.
Spouse & Family: Yes.
Processing Time: Irish can apply POE.

15. Canadian Work Permit
The Canadian Work Permit allows an overseas national to live and work in Canada. It is a temporary resident visa. There is no age requirement.
Requirements:
You must evidence work experience/ Qualifications
Compulsory professionals & trades need pre-approval to be licensed before they can apply including teachers, medical, accountants, ironworker, panel beater, electrician, etc., dependant on state.
Your employer needs to get Labour Market Opinion. Visafirst.com can assist employer with this application.
Issued for: up to 2 years and can be extended.
Spouse & Family: Yes, Spouses of Permit holders must apply for a separate Employment Permit in their own right.
Processing Time: If employer has LMO, Irish can apply POE.

16. Canada Experience Programme (CEP)
This is a permanent resident visa to allow applicant to live and work in Canada permanently. It allow a successful temporary placement to remain in Canada indefinitely.
Requirements:
Applicant will need to evidence 12 months Canadian work experience in the last 3 years in a skilled occupation.
Issued for: permanent resident visa
Spouse & Family: Yes
Processing Time: 8 months, bridging visa organised if applicant wants to remain in Canada during processing of application.

Issued for: depends on the skill level of the occupation and length of the job offer but generally 2 to 5 years with option to renew. Many proceed to apply for ‘Work to Residence Visa’ depending on occupation.

24. Australian Employer Sponsored Visa
This is a Temporary Resident Visa for over 600 occupations. The applicant is tied in that (s)he cannot work as a contractor, or for another Australian employer.
Requirements:
Employer must be approved to sponsored foreign workers
Job offer must be a minimum of $53,900 per year for 38h/w
Salary must meet local market rate
Job offer must have the same employment conditions as for Australian employees
Employer must meet Training requirements
Employer must demonstrate LMO
Applicant may need to complete IELTS & skills assessment depending on nationality.
Issued for: 1 to 4 years for new sponsoring employers, can be renewed.
Spouse & Family: Yes.
Processing Time: From 5 working days for approved employers.

25. Australian Skilled Migrant Visa
There are a number of routes for applicants to apply for a permanent resident visa. Australia has a national list of occupation that are in demand and in addition each state has its own shortage list of occupations.
Skilled Migrant Independent Visa: This is a points based Visas.
State Sponsored Skilled Migrant: This is based on state shortage lists
Employer Nomination Scheme: This allows an Australian employer to sponsor their employee of two years for permanent residence.
