The year 11 students are currently preparing to complete their individual project. This project gets the students to come up with a suitable title in which they could investigate. This project is a written project of 1000 – 2000 words.

Lesson info
This lesson is to get the students to write an introduction to their investigation. They should have now chosen a title with their Welsh Bacc teacher last week. Now the students are to be shown how to write an introduction and write their introduction to their project. Go through the slides and website that is linked (you will need the speakers on), show them the template which located in the same folder.

2. Reminder - Volunteering
You must have completed your 10 hours of volunteering by the 30th October.
After half term you will be reviewing your 10 hours in your Welsh Bacc lessons so you must have finished by the time you come back to school.
Speak to Miss Feathers or Mrs Hawke-Jones if you are worried you wont be finished in time.

 You can start your introduction with a few sentences which announces the topic of your paper and give an indication of the kind of research questions you will be asking.

Write your name and Tutor group in the header
Add your title to the front sheet and images that represent your title
Write your introduction to your project
Extension: Find any websites that you could use for this investigation. Save the websites into your secondary research folder (right click on the website, save as) and copy and paste the website address into your bibliography
