The figure illustrates that children who are still breast-fed at a given age have RRs of eczema of 1.82, 3.22, and 6.67 compared with children for whom breast-feeding ended 0 to 3, 3 to 6, and 6 to 9 months earlier—that is, the risk of eczema is increased with longer duration of breast-feeding.
