Have you noticed that the Absolute Value Functions are really two rays?
A ray is part of a line. It has an endpoint and continues in one direction forever.
Basically, an Absolute Value Function is part of two linear functions put together.
So… how does the slope of the decreasing side of the Absolute Value Function relate to the slope of the increasing side?
