Gold Anchor fiducial marker is a gold wire either 10 mm or 20 mm long (0.28 mm in diameter) with notches every 2 mm. Right, the 20-mm-long Gold Anchor (Naslund Medical AB, Huddinge, Sweden) in a straight conformation that can be preloaded in a 22-gauge fine needle. Left, the fiducial in a folded or ball-shaped conformation, achieved by advancing the stylet. The folded conformation should reduce the risk of migration once the fiducial is placed in the target lesion.
