The process that plants use to make their own
food

6. For photosynthesis to occur, a plant needs water, sunlight, and carbon dioxide
The plant then produces glucose (sugar) and oxygen

7. The process of photosynthesis takes place in the leaves of plants

Sunlight is absorbed by a green chemical in the leaves called CHLOROPHYLL

Hydrogen (breaks down water into) Oxygen
H and CO2 (found in the air are used to create the GLUCOSE that feeds the plant, while the O2 is released into the atmosphere (which we breathe)
