CNDT2.5 cells express mRNA for synaptophysin and neuron-specific enolase. RT-PCR of CNDT2.5 cells in culture revealed expression of mRNA for the neuroendocrine markers synaptophysin (Syn) and neuron-specific enolase (NSE) but not chromogranin A (CgA).
