Exposition "The Tell-Tale Heart" is a story by Edgar Allan Poe first published in It was an old man who had a servant. His servant was a young man and he didn’t like the old man "vultures-eye”. So he killed the old man.

Rising Action All of the seven nights that the servant wanted to kill the old man because of his “vulture-eye”.

Climax When the servant killed the old man.

Falling Action When the police men pulled up and came in the house and the servant “heard” the old man heart beating.

Resolution When the servant “heard” the old man heart beating, he confess that he killed the old man because of his “Vultures-eye”.

Theme The servant guilt of killing the old man because of his “Vultures-eye”.

Opinion/Connection I think he should of never took the old man life because of his looks, or because his eye doesn’t look right.
