2 Currently the HeliOffshore workstream is focused on enhancing the survivability of accidents through: Introduction and enhancements of Emergency Breathing Systems Ensuring flight occurs in appropriate conditions with adequate rescue coverage Standardized Helicopter Underwater Emergency Training Enhanced Flotation Aids Improved Certification Standards  Achievements First component of Sea State study complete, with second phase in collaboration with the UK Met Office; complement work already underway in St Johns, Canada, with Memorial University Newfoundland and the Marine Institute. Industry Partner OPITO engaged with Emergency Breathing Systems along with EASA Representation, actively bringing engineering and regulatory data to the workstream.

3 What topics does the HSAC Representation want from a Gulf of Mexico HSAC Survivability Working Group? CAT-A EBS? Training standards (review, changes, etc?) SAR? Survivability equipment (vests, rafts, etc.?) Look at this form another point of view…. What should the working group be discussing as far as items that are working well to prevent adverse changes?
