After being betrayed by a dear friend, he chose to love and forgive
After being hauled away like a criminal, even though no one could find him guilty of any wrong-doing, he chose to love and forgive
After being turned over by religious people who said they served God, he chose to love and forgive
After being mocked and spit on by soldiers, he chose to love and forgive

7. Jesus’ Motivation
After having the same crowd that loved him for his teaching and miracles now scream for his crucifixion, he chose to love and forgive
After having his dear friend deny even knowing him three different times, he chose to love and forgive
After being beaten and shamefully put to death in a public forum, he chose to love and forgive

8. Father, forgive them. They are blind
Father, forgive them. They are blind. They don’t know what they are doing. I will bear the weight of their sin. I will pay the price for their transgressions. I love them.

9. Although he was crucified by HATE, he responded with aggressive LOVE.

On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the bod of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them.
