Work with your group to create a short presentation that addresses the question, “How and why did the outcomes of the war with Mexico 1846–48 add to sectional difficulties?” On what issues did the North & South disagree, and why did they disagree? To what problems did these disagreements lead?

Why/how is the war dividing the US?
How did different groups or sections of the country view the war & its outcomes?

10. Work with your group to create a short presentation that addresses the question, “How and why did the outcomes of the war with Mexico 1846–48 add to sectional difficulties?” On what issues did the North & South disagree, and why did they disagree? To what problems did these disagreements lead?
Presentation could be a brief skit, a cartoon series, a song, short video, a drawing or chart, or whatever format you choose.
You should present both a northern and a southern perspective on the war and its outcome***.
