1 Non-ST segment elevation AMI—AMI characteristically presents with STE in approximately 50% of myocardial infarction patients; in the remainder of the AMI population, electrocardiographic ST segment depression and T wave inversion are frequent presentations. Non-ST segment elevation AMI—AMI characteristically presents with STE in approximately 50% of myocardial infarction patients; in the remainder of the AMI population, electrocardiographic ST segment depression and T wave inversion are frequent presentations.
