Words Per Minute is the number of characters — including spaces and punctuation — typed in one minute (divided by five)

How many characters does it have? 46
What is my WPM?
46 words/ 5 = 9.2
9 WPM typed

4. What about mistakes?
There is no standard for factoring in incorrectly typed letters, it has been found the best solution is to separate Accuracy and Speed.
In the example, if you mistyped one letter you would have still typed 9.2 WPM, but with a 98% accuracy.
