4 Portia - High Grade Gold 75m Below Surface
4 Previous drilling defined a JORC resource in base of Tertiary clays and returned high grade bedrock intersections. Next mining objective: Drilling in progress is defining mineable resources in the bedrock beneath the pit floor and along strike. Weathered bedrock Recent mining objective: Base of Tertiary clay in a hollow on the bedrock. New drilling is defining extensions. Bedrock

5 A Year Of Achievements And Challenges
5 ACHIEVEMENTS Mined first gold ore (early March) Completion of construction of gold processing plant (April) Poured first gold (May) - successfully achieved 2 months ahead of schedule Confirmation of substantial new bedrock gold mineralisation in the pit floor and extending south of the current open pit that will extend mining life by at least another 12 months Joint decision with CMC to mine 120m cutback on the same revenue sharing arrangement Paid off $4 million debt used to finance processing plant CHALLENGES SUCCESSFULLY OVERCOME Mining though soft overburden Managing water inflows Coping with the rain

6 Achievements: Portia Processing Plant Construction
February 2016

7 Achievements : First Gold Ore On ROM Pad
7 April 2016

8 Achievements : Efficient Gravity Gold Plant
8 Recovery of free gold Gold plant is operating 24 hours per day and recovering gold according to design. High grade ore stockpile Gold room Riffles Knelson concentrator

9 Achievements: Admiring The Gold !
Gold Recovery On Wilfley Table

10 Achievements: Havilah’s First Gold Pour
10 May 2016

11 First Full Quarter Of Production >8,000 oz
11 Units Quarter ending 31 Oct 20161 Overburden mined BCM 1,392,000 Ore mined t 127,000 Total tonnes processed (wet) 73,000 Grade processed g/t 3.4 Gold produced oz 8,138 Gold sold 9,134 Achieved gold price A$/oz 1,618 C1 Cash Cost 402 All-in Sustaining Cost 523 All-in Cost 614

12 Challenges: Pitwall Slips
12 Geotechnical studies have developed a stable design

13 Sentry Laser Scanner Pit-wall Monitoring
13 Clever local technology

14 Open Pit Today 14

15 Challenges: Water Inflows
15 In pit sumps and pumps – very effective dewatering

16 Challenges: Abnormally Prolonged Heavy Rainfall
16 From May to October

17 Highlight : First Bedrock Gold Ore Exposed
17 Light grey clay unconformable contact on weathered dipping graphitic pelite (bedrock). Light grey clay – high grade gold ore 2m thick, commonly 5-30 g/t Au. Gold mineralisation in weathered bedrock to be explored by drilling from pit floor. Large target potential.

18 Fracture And Bedding Replacement Gold Min.

19 Where To Now ? 19 Open pit is optimised to capture the maximum ounces of gold (80%) in the base of Tertiary resource – approx. 53,000 ounces. South wall cut back will access additional ore. Additional gold intersected in previous drilling but not included in the current resource will be accessible from the pit floor (see previous slide).

20 Focus on Expanding Portia – Plenty of Options
20 Portia can potentially be expanded to north, south and depth South North 1.7 km Portia Southern Extension Portia Resource Portia Northern Extension Portia North Portia North conceptual open pit Portia open pit Portia bedrock gold target Portia base of Tertiary gold resource Portia southern extension drillholes Pit floor drilling Portia North oxidised copper-gold resource including saprolite gold resource

21 Southern and Depth Extension Drilling
Returned some high grade gold intersections PTAC 232: metres of 39.3 g/t Au from 63.5 – 94.0 metres PTAC 228: metres of 53.6 g/t Au from 68.0 – 74.0 metres PTAC 231: metres of g/t Au from 79.0 – 92.0 metres PTAC 236: metres of 35.4 g/t Au in pit floor drilling Portia southern extension drilling

22 Section Through Southern Cutback
Good gold grades

23 Decision To Proceed With Southern Cutback
23 Will extend Portia mine life by another 12 months

24 Portia North Oxidised Copper-Gold
24 Potential to expand Portia operations by another 5 years 18.0 metres of 4.90% Cu and 2.03 g/t Au 32.0 metres of 3.95% Cu and 1.45 g/t Au 14.0 metres of 3.31% Cu and 1.27 g/t Au 15.0 metres of 2.79% Cu and 1.39 g/t Au 30.0 metres of 1.30% Cu and 0.56 g/t Au Oxidised ore envelope within conceptual open pit.

25 Near Portia Exploration Benagerie Dome Prospects
25 Benagerie Dome refers to the large dome-like structure defined by the aeromagnetics as shown in this image, and interpreted to be a complexly folded sequence of highly altered and mineralised metamorposed sediments of Broken Hill age (circa 1.6 billion years old) Portia PACE Drilling Program Spoilt for choice – multiple repetitions of Portia geology and numerous gold intersections that have never been followed up. Scale is staggering – room for dozens of Portia’s. Undetected high grade gold likely – due to the Portia coarse-grained nugget effect Croziers Cu
