1. Browse the codebook
- to see the list of variables on which you can do statistics select the “Browse codebook in this window” option and then click “Start”

2. Select the visualization mode for the variables
- to see the list of variables, select one of the three visualization options

3. View details about variables
- to view details about variables click the link associated with them

4. View variables’ values
- for each variable you clicked on a table of values will be presented

5. Do crosstabulation on the data
- to do crosstabulation between variables select the “Frequencies or crosstabulation” option and then click “Start”

6. Select variables for crosstabulation
- type in the names of the 2 variables in the row and column boxes and then click “Run the Table”

7. View results of crosstabulation
