To talk about past events or activities, I use the simple past
Regular verbs: v stem+ed/d
Iregular verbs: each irreguler verb has its own past tense and past particple forms( list)

9. Simple past with « ago »
1)I use the simple past time marker « ago » preceded by words indicating a period of time « year, day, week, month……….. » Example: I went to primary school 3years ago.
