1 Professional Services Group Reform Programme STAFF FEEDBACK
AIM In March/April 2019 we wanted to gauge from staff in PSG their views on where we are now, what the gap is and how we might get there in creating the best services; to be able to support the delivery of the University Strategy. Four questions were posed. The results of which were fed into the strategy development and the programme of activity. Q3: What key obstacles do we need to overcome? Q4: How do we make that change happen? Q1: What do we need to do to deliver excellence in the services we provide that enable and support the University’s strategy? Q2: What do you want your service to be known for across the University? Some of the feedback provided further insight It’s a good idea, let’s just try it Flexible, innovative, collaborative and service focused Grab them, train them, challenge them and reward them [our people] Focused on sustainable solutions not short-term fixes Delivering what people need, when they need it, without an entry barrier Being open, diverse, people- centric and above all, capable Move forward without fear of failure, and an increased expectation of success Creative solutions, based on co-creation, challenge and support Although the University strategy extends to 2030, in a world of such rapid change combined with uncertainty, we have set ourselves a 3 year timeframe to bring about change and progress in key areas.,
