The Year Without a Santa Claus

It was just a few days before Christmas, and the elves were making all the toys and getting Santa’s sleigh ready!

But one morning, when Santa woke up from a good night’s sleep, he didn’t feel good. He didn’t feel good at all. Mrs. Claus told him to get some rest because he needed to deliver all the presents to all the children around the world on Christmas Eve!

But Santa said, “I’m so sick, I think we might have to cancel Christmas this year. Besides, I need a vacation.” “But Santa! You’ve never cancelled Christmas before!” said Mrs. Claus.

But Santa wouldn’t budge, so Mrs. Claus thought of a plan
But Santa wouldn’t budge, so Mrs. Claus thought of a plan. She was going to show Santa how much everyone would miss him if he cancelled Christmas!

Mrs. Claus sent Jingle and Jangle, two of Santa’s best elves, and Vixen to go to Southtown and prove to Santa that people really did care about him!

However, when Santa finds out that Jingle, Jangle, and Vixen left, he goes after them to make sure they don’t get into any trouble!

Jingle and Jangle go see the Mayor in order to get Vixen back, but first, they have to make it snow in Southtown! Now they have to go see the Snow Miser to make it snow in the Southtown!

The elves arrive in Southtown, and at first, they find no Christmas spirit!
While they went to look for more Christmas spirit, they left Vixen to rest under a shady tree. However, the dogcatcher mistook Vixen for a dog, and took him to the pound! To get Vixen back, they need to go see the Mayor!

Meanwhile, when Santa arrives in Southtown, he is invited into his friend Iggy’s house, where he finds out that some people really do care about him! Once Santa leaves Iggy’s house, he went out to look for Vixen, and finds him at the pound. He goes back to the North Pole and takes Vixen home.

Jingle and Jangle arrive at Snow Miser’s igloo, but in order for him to let it snow in Southtown, they must first get permission from his brother Heat Miser! After much arguing, the two brothers finally come to a compromise.

When the Mayor sees it snowing in Southtown, he agrees to never put Vixen or any other reindeer in the pound again, and he agreed to give Santa his own holiday and a day off!

He is ready to deliver those presents!
In the end, Santa realizes that people do care about him and about Christmas! After a day of rest, he feels much, much better! He is ready to deliver those presents!
