2 Playback Systems The computer system and any additional equipment used for viewing multimedia presentations. Computer systems must include a: Video graphics card to display graphics. Sound card to play sound effects. Note: The minimum computer system requirements for multimedia titles can be found on the package. Teacher Note: One should also check the package material to find the minimum system requirements for playing the multimedia title before purchasing it to determine if their system can play the multimedia title.

3 Development Systems Developing multimedia presentations requires a basic computer system. Additional hardware devices may be used. A computer with large storage capacity is recommended. Note: High-end equipment can minimize production cost and time spent in creating multimedia titles.
