3 Summer homework and information pack
Deadlines and key dates All homework due by first day back (4/9/18) These go onto the website tomorrow as PDF files This will be replicated before each holiday period in PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE SIGNED UP TO PARENTMAIL!

4 Key dates and deadlines
PPEs (mock exams) 4th November 20th November 20th January  31st January 16th March 20th March Parents’ Evenings 24th October 27th February Coursework Deadlines All in booklet, final deadline 4th April

5 PPEs Three ‘windows’ Students know timetable in advance, it goes on the website with a parentmail Results fed back through reports Mirrors exam period Partially for grades, partially to inform teaching, partially for experience and training

6 Period 6 Additional 120 hours + Students invited according to need
Students can work there way out of p6 through sustained progress in specific subject areas. P6 registers to be reviewed after each AP cycle.

8 Holiday revision February half-term – focus on coursework subjects
Easter School – students invited according to need May half-term – English, Maths, Science, History All timetables and letters out at least four week before

9 Study Stay GCSE exams start 12th May 2020 Students will remain in school until their last ‘big’ exam Students in by 8am for morning exams to set the tone Collapsed timetable and coaching before exams to create the right mindset

10 Tutor Time English, Maths and Science tutor groups
Over an hour of extra study on those areas per week Students placed according to need and report data Some students will be allowed to study independently These groups are likely to change throughout the year

11 Attendance and Prom Expected attendance at school is 97%
Students falling below are at risk of attending catch up sessions in holidays or weekends Prom will be invite only based on the following: Attendance Attendance at P6 Growth mindset grade on reports General attitude towards school Extenuating circumstances will be considered

12 Revision expectations
All students should have a revision timetable by Christmas 1 ½ - 2 hours per night
