8 Mission: To conduct both independent and collaborative research that explores promising behavioral, microbicidal, prophylactic, therapeutic, and vaccine modalities in HIV-infected and at-risk adolescents, ages 12 through 24 years, in the United States. Overall goals of the ATN are to achieve viral suppression for youth diagnosed with HIV, and to decrease the rate of HIV infection in youth.
