2. History 2017 HarborPath usage expands in Houston
HarborPath shares they can no longer meet the needs of Houston
Discussions begin at DSHS about how to ensure medication needs are met in Houston
DSHS works with TRG to contract with HarborPath to cover medication costs in Houston

3. History 2018 HarborPath- no more free medication fills nationally
DSHS, TRG, and HarborPath expand current contract to encompass all of Texas
DSHS requests help of AAs to identify providers that will (or may possibly) use HarborPath in 2018

5. Monitoring HarborPath
Care Services has identified required data points for future monitoring
Care Services is working with HarborPath and the ARIES team to ensure this data is captured during the import process from HarborPath to ARIES.
Care Services and ARIES are collaborating with the goal of monitoring HarborPath usage “in-house”, independent of the Germane provider monitoring

6. THMP Approval
Once a client is approved for THMP they will no longer have access to HarborPath
Care Services is working closely with HarborPath and THMP staff to streamline how this information will be gathered and distributed

Care Services will work with AAs and HarborPath to secure all necessary paperwork at both the AA and provider level
AAs must notify DSHS if any new provider(s) are added throughout the year that may need access to HarborPath

The goal of this initiative is to meet the medication needs of PWLH in Texas
Care Services will continue to work diligently with ARIES staff, THMP staff, and HarborPath to ensure as smooth a rollout as possible
