3. Do Now: Find a partner in the room, or work independently
Share your thesis statements, and work together (or by yourself) to find the three scenes that you MUST include to fully prove that thesis statement right
Write down the page number and first three words of each scene under the appropriate thesis statement

4. Return to your original seat
Based on your partner work, develop a “final” thematic thesis statement—you will use this for your final paper
Though you can change it later in the process, all work you complete from here on will be centered on this, so be relatively sure of your choice

5. Homework:
Create an outline for the paper using one of the outlines I printed for you, or by designing your own
