2 approaches tested:
use common metric (EFI) to compare MS class boundaries – common database
direct comparisons of boundaries at regional level – regional databases
Main common problems with criteria for selecting reference sites
Most national methods still in developement
Available common metrics do not take sufficiently into account hydromorphological pressures impacts
Intercalibration exercise not possible to complete with current data for June 2007
First results demonstrate the feasibility of the intercalibration exercise
2 more years needed
