How much do my scores matter? It depends on the college. Some schools weigh scores very highly when they are reviewing applications. Others might look at grades and extracurricular activities first. Your best bet is to look at the average SAT scores for admitted students and try to aim for scores in that range. When should I start studying for the SAT and/or ACT? Most students take the test in the spring of their junior year, and they’ll begin studying a few months before. How do I register for the SAT and/or ACT? Is there an SAT and/or ACT waiver? YES! See Mrs. Wilson in the Counseling Office. Please give Mrs. Wilson at least 72 hours to process your request for a fee waiver.
