What about this sentence?
Because you have power as a language user, you also have a responsibility for the words you use. You should ask yourself: what description works best for the situation? Remember that lying or distorting facts is an abuse of your language power! Darren Crovitz, a gang member and convicted criminal, will be a guest speaker in March. (not true, btw)

Task: Celebrities are often controversial people. Choose a famous person and then create three different sentences using different naming descriptions to shape a reader’s impression of that person. Ex. Taylor Swift, a ten-time Grammy award winner, will make an appearance in Atlanta.

Example : Taylor Swift, a ten-time Grammy award winner, will make an appearance in Atlanta.
Neutral (just basic facts) [Celebrity name], ______________________________________________, will make an appearance in Atlanta. Positive (make this person sound awesome) [Celebrity name] ______________________________________________, will make an appearance in Atlanta. Negative (focus on something unpleasant… but don’t lie!)
