10 Greater Region Mobility Initiative
Purpose: Create transportation connections for those in need, such as older adults and those with disabilities Partnership with Ohio Department of Transportation Miami Valley is one of two pilot regions for this project

11 Greater Region Mobility Initiative
Presenter :30:08 “The purpose of locally developed, coordinated public transit-human services transportation plans (coordinated plans) is to identify community resources for transportation and mobility, understand the gaps and unmet needs within those resources, and to determine the approach to addressing those gaps and unmet needs… Federal law requires plans to be developed and approved through a process that includes participation by seniors, individuals with disabilities, representatives of public, private, and nonprofit transportation and human services providers and other members of the public” Greater Region Mobility Initiative Three-fold purpose: Identify existing community resources Understand unmet needs Determine approach to addressing needs County HSTC Plans Ohio Regions: Pilot Project MVRPC OMEGA

12 Equity Initiative Goal 1: Increase the awareness of our pressing matters of racial and economic inequity by sharing and disseminating the findings from the Miami Valley Equity Regional Profile.
