20 Do A Club Check Up – Find out what people really think!

21 Let’s Look at Your Current Club…
Traditions Do people sit in a certain place? Do you know you are at a 4-H meeting when you arrive? Does someone friendly welcome you when you arrive? Do meeting start on time? Do you have cliques of members and families? Are there other aspects of the meeting that might make someone uncomfortable?

22 Things to consider Make the fun and learning the focus of your meetings, not the business. Meeting organization is not just what is on the agenda. If your were a year old would you be excited to come to your club meeting, why or why not? Making meeting mandatory isn’t going to get members there, making meeting fun and engaging will. Don’t require attendance, hold meetings worth attending!
