Surgical specimens were fixed and paraffin embedded. Serial sections were reacted with anti-aromatase antibody. Staining for aromatase in a control endometrial biopsy (A) and an endometrial adenomyoma resected at surgery (B). The latter shows increased staining for aromatase in the mesodermal and glandular hyperparathyroidism–jaw tumor syndrome tissue.
