Church Scientific
The Church Scientific project seeks to help Christians build a positive yet critical understanding of how scientific research works.  The core of the project is a series of six scientists' workshops exploring a Christian philosophy of science that should be of benefit to participants' own research work.  It's an ambitious vision, but last year's participants highly recommend it, and this year the workshops are improved and expanded.
The first workshop is this Monday (29 Jan), and the others are at fortnightly intervals after that. For more information please visit the Church Scientific website at

Hvnly Hangout next month will be on the 04th of February at the earlier time of 4pm (until 6pm to ensure those attending Alpha have time to get there); as we’ve been looking at Lent and ’40 Acts’ we will being having some pancakes, games and spending time together.
