Slow Loris Facts Description The Slow Loris is covered in fur and is gray and red. It can grow up to 26-cm(10 ¼ -15 in). The adult can weigh up to kg. The Slow Loris also has a good grip on branches. Diet The Slow Loris is a omnivore. It eats insects, bird eggs, small birds, shoots, and fruit. Movement Slow Loris crawl slowly. It is also warm, wet and humid. 4 Life Cycle The Slow Loris give live birth and 1 or 2 babies are born at a time. It takes the baby 193 days to be born. The babies mother takes care of them for 6 months. The baby slow loris has red fur, and a little bit of brown. A picture of the animal as a baby or young. The adults live in family groups from 2-4. Adults have red and brown fur and racoon like eyes. 5 Animal Interactions The Slow Loris has a toxic bite. The mothers protect their babies by licking toxin onto to their fur. They communicate by scent marking. Their biggest predators are humans because they keep them for pets. That is bad for them because then there will be less parents living in wild life so more babies won’t be able to be born.
