From its parentage Dragster inherits the key attributes of short stiff straw, early maturity and an easily managed canopy.
In the eastern region, light leaf spot has become a critical disease alongside stem canker; Dragster has excellent resistance to both diseases. Dragster is also noted for its speed of establishment in the autumn, excellent winter hardiness and early spring vigour.
