A. When working with concrete materials (after mixed), safety glasses and proper tools for each job should be used.
B. Gloves should be worn to protect the students hands when using certain tools.

3. Important procedures to observe when using concrete hand tools.
A. Follow instructors= guidelines before using the tools.
B. Check each tool before using and select the proper tool.
C. Be sure all concrete hand tools are properly cleaned after use.
D. Store tools properly after use (Note: Oil trowels with form oil)
E. Report any cuts, bruises, or accidents and also any broken or damaged tools to the instructor.
