6. Concept of Frequency reuse
Adjacent cells must have different set of frequencies/channels to avoid interference (crosstalk).
Cells are grouped into clusters. Each cluster uses the entire available radio spectrum . Therefore, the number of clusters is the number of times the entire spectrum can be used. This is called frequency reuse. f4 f3 f2 f1 f6 f7 f5 f2 f7 f3
Cells with the same number have the same set of frequencies

If area is not divided then we have to use Single high power antenna => limited number of users
If Area is divided into cells => frequency reuse possible => more number of users
